Our main man Ivan Klisanin from Lafayette, hauled his mobile studio including his full 5 pc Gretch Catalina kit for our picky drummer. Moods were all high yesterday as we laid down the majority of 3 new tunes under Ivan’s delicate yet menacing guidance as the following photos show.

All 6 members are buckled down for 12+ hr days at Rick Nelson’s Marigny Recording Studio, eating dried apricots, Pho King from Lost Love Lounge, and smoking Ashton Cigars. After a successful Jazz Fest run that included gigs in Lafayette, Le Bon Temps, The Circle Bar and the Acura Stage at the Fest, the band is content with their direction and still patting the backs of live special guests Marco Benevento and Mike Gamble.

Happy Jazz Fest everyone! We are playing the Acura stage this year as well as several night shows- and rolling out some new tunes from our forthcoming album.  These are our last shows until the fall, so we hope to see you soon!
